Spot repair is a damage repair method especially developed for damage that is too small to justify a full respray of your yacht, but too large to be ignored. Using this special method, we can repair your damage quickly at any desire time and location. This will save you time and money.
Spot repair can be applied to almost any damage
In theory, spot repair can be applied to any damage. But if your yacht is damaged to such an extent that spot repair is no longer viable, we will advise you on your other options. We have yacht respray contacts that might be able to assist you. If you are unsure of whether your damage can be spot repaired, please ask us for advice!
Spot repair is based on identical colour matching
Spot repair is based on matching the original colour. We are able to do this by using a spectrophotometer that scans the colour of your yacht. In 95% of cases, we already have a shade to that matches your colour. If not, the spectrophotometer creates a formula so that we can mix the right colour for you. We always have 24 secondary colours and 69 metallic secondary colours available in our mobile workshop so that we can guarantee perfect match of colours. Is your damage in a very obvious area? To ensure an ideal transition, we treat an area just larger than the actual damage. Quick-drying paint and a unique spraying method create an invisible transition from area of repair to original paintwork.
